News Letter feature and Liverpool book signing event

On Friday 20 July the News Letter, a Belfast morning paper, published a feature on ‘Martha’s Girls’. Click on the link below if you’d like to read it.

Thanks to everyone I met at Waterstone’s in Liverpool One on Saturday 21 July and to staff at the store for hosting the event. I hope to be back in Liverpool again in December. In the meantime I’m (quite) hard at work on the sequel, which will follow Martha and the girls from 1941 to the end of the war.  No title for it yet – any suggestions?

  1. Congratulations on an excellent novel. It is educational, entertaining, exciting and the best read I have had in a long time. I look forward to your next novel.

  2. Hi Barbara, thanks for your lovely comments on ‘Martha’s Girls’. Feel free to pass it round or recommend it to everyone you know! Started the sequel which is quite daunting, but I’ll just have to keep going. Best wishes, Alrene.
