Martha’s girls return in a new poignant wartime story of love lost . . .and found.

It’s 1941 and the German bombs are falling on Belfast. Martha and her girls face danger, hardship and difficult decisions.

My latest novel ‘The Golden Sisters’ will be launched in Belfast on Thursday 12 March 2015 at the NI War Memorial WW2 Museum.

      • Thank you that will be brilliant. I am so pleased for you. You deserve all the good luck in the world for your hard work. I will contact Adam via Jenny or Juliet as I have retired from supply work. We are concentrating on cruising, visiting as many different ports as we can! A nice way of enjoying retirement. X

  1. I have just finished reading your book The Golden Sisters. which I received from you in Heywood, when you very kindly signed it for me. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you once again, it was a very good read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to the next book. Yvonne.

    • Hi Yvonne, it was lovely to meet you at the 1940s event and quite a surprise when you told me you had already read and enjoyed the first book ‘Martha’s Girls’. I’m working on the third book now and I’m hoping it will be out next year. All the best, Alrenex

  2. Looking forward to your third book. The first two books are excellent. I could not put them down. The golden girls seem so real, you feel you are sharing all the ups and downs of the family.
